ROOM BOOKING RULES AND REGULATIONS


TIME LIMITS

Maximum time limits bookable by any individual/group of students working on one project:

Level 4 & 5 : 2 hours per day – 6 hours per week

Level 6: 3 hours per day - 9 hours per week


STUDIO AVAILABILITY

All students can book any free slot in Studios 6, 7 and 8 between 9am and 9pm, and Studios 3, 4 and 5 after 5pm.

Only Level 6 (3rd Year) Students can book rehearsals in Studios 2 and 5 between 9am and 5pm.

The Edric Theatre and Studio 1 are not available to book through SISO. If you would like to use these spaces, please contact the technical team.


ACCESS CARDS

For evening rehearsals, you must pick up your pass card from the technical office before 4:30pm on the day of rehearsal and return it to the drop box (on the tech office door) at the end of your rehearsal, before you leave the building.

All Access Cards also allow access to the Props Store BR 232A.


Rooms must be left clean and tidy

Any chairs/tables/costumes/props etc must be returned and NOT left in the rehearsal space, unless pre-arranged with the Technical Team


CANCELLATIONS

Please try to make cancellations at least 48 hours in advance where possible.


Failure to adhere to these rules may result in booking privileges being revoked.



By booking equipment you agree to the following terms:


Equipment must not be left unattended unless it is in secure locked storage. It must never be left unattended in a vehicle.  

You must never give equipment you have booked to someone else. It remains your responsibility until you have returned it.


You agree to the safekeeping of the equipment detailed above and to return all items on the date specified.   

You agree that equipment will not be used outdoors in poor weather conditions.   

You understand that items borrowed will not be insured by LSBU against theft or damage caused by misuse or carelessness.  

If you choose not to insure the equipment yourself, you understand that you are personally liable for repairing or replacing the equipment in the event of damage or theft.   

Any loss or damage to the equipment may result in a claim from LSBU for reimbursement of replacement, repair or any other reasonable costs incurred.

Any thefts must be reported to the Police and a crime number obtained.

As a user of this system registered or otherwise you agree that if for any reason you are unable to use smarthub for the intended purpose then you will contact your store via telephone, email or in person to resolve the problem. Siso Software Limited are not responsible or liable in any way for any errors, damages or any other loss caused by your usage of this system. For the avoidance of doubt this includes any loss howsoever suffered including negligence or fraud except where such negligence causes death or personal injury.
